索绪尔语言符号形式与意义关联任意性的思想内涵，涉及语言形式与意义的使用者能动性及其使用中社会化的意义赋值。任意性与使用中的规约化协同意义的构建，表征为以语言符号为载体的语词与语义指称关系的规约化及使用中的意义创新。使用者认知整合语言符号的任意性与规约化的社会化交互，任意性为语言形式与意义初始配对关系的建立、使用者概念化、范畴化语义认知提供了可能。
Abstract：The connotation of Saussure's language arbitrariness between its form and meaning involves the user's initiative of the form and meaning and the socialization of the meaning assignment in the use.The meaning constructed by arbitrariness and conventionalization in language use, represented by language symbol and its word and semantic reference relations and the innovation of meaning in use. The user's cognition integrates the arbitrary and conventionalization social interaction of language signs.Arbitrariness makes it possible to establish the initial pairing relationship between language form and meaning and to conceptualize and categorize semantic cognition.
